Better hiring starts with better conversations.
I spend my days inside the work of hiring people. I write about what we miss when hiring becomes too transactional, what better questions uncover, and why understanding the person behind the résumé changes the decision.
This is where I’m building Better Hiring Conversations, the P.A.T.H. framework, speaking ideas, and practical lessons from the work as I’m actually doing it.
Not theory from the sidelines. Ideas being tested in real hiring conversations, every week.
“A résumé tells you where someone has been. A conversation helps you understand what those places meant.”
Better hiring is not about making the process softer. It is about making the information better. Better questions create better understanding. Better understanding creates better alignment. Better alignment creates better decisions.

Better Hiring Conversations
The newsletter is also the blog. Each issue lives here as part of a growing library about recruiting, leadership, assumptions, people, and the decisions we make about them.
The framework
P.A.T.H. is a way to put the belief into practice.
It is not the whole brand. It is one practical framework I am building for better candidate discovery and better hiring conversations. The structure gives recruiters something repeatable without turning the conversation into a script.
The work behind the ideas
I’m still in the arena.
I’ve worked in human resources and recruiting since 2009, across consulting, high-volume hiring, operational recruiting, leadership, and talent acquisition management.
I’m not trying to build a polished philosophy that only works on a stage. The writing and frameworks here come from candidate calls, hiring-manager conversations, offers, missed hires, retention questions, leadership decisions, and the moments where the process either becomes human or loses the person entirely.
The point is not to make hiring complicated. It is to stop pretending that a shallow process gives us deep information.
Stay in the conversation
If better hiring matters to you, we probably have something to talk about.
